What I Have I Give to You
But Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have; but what I do have I give to you: In the name (authority, power) of Jesus Christ the Nazarene—[begin now to] walk and go on walking!”
This scripture is so powerful. How often do we look at what we don’t have? The solution we don’t have, the resource we don’t have, etc, and then we allow that to disqualify us or use it as an excuse to not respond.
In this story, Peter models the reality that, if you are a Christ follower, you always have something to offer because His Spirit lives in you.
My challenge for you today is the next time you are faced with a situation and you don’t feel you have the answer, pause and pray. Ask for wisdom, pray for a miracle, and creative solutions. Invite Jesus into your situation because He changes everything!
Remember too that you may not be the answer to someone else’s problem, but ultimately Jesus is and He lives in you. He’s the miracle worker and you always have that to give!
