Love in Action

“Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:18

We’ve all heard the saying “Actions speak louder than words”, right? Did you know the Bible also encourages us to let our actions reflect our words too? We’re told to love with action in truth, and not just with our words.

Why? Because love looks like something. God loved the world so much that He GAVE His only Son. If He is our example, then our actions should reflect that too.

Application:

Ask the Holy Spirit to show you how your life can reflect a life of love through your actions, and ask for the grace and the courage to follow through and do it!
